Eddie L. Bravenec, Esq.
After graduating with a law degree from the University of Texas, Austin, Mr. Bravenec began practicing as an Assistant District Attorney for the Bexar County Prosecutor’s Office. Four years later, in 2003, Albert W. McKnight and Edward L. Bravenec formed the Law Office of McKnight & Bravenec, and was originally managed by Albert W. McKnight. Mr. Bravenec is the senior, named partner.
Mr. Bravenec has thirteen years of litigation experience, and has tried over 100 cases to jury, as a prosecutor, defense lawyer, and civil litigator. Edward L. Bravenec has successfully defended indigent individuals on the county level for five years. As with many successful practitioners, he now represents mainly retained clients. Mr. Bravenec has also practiced extensively in a number of other areas, including administrative, municipal, family, real estate, contract litigation, commercial litigation, and general litigation.
Ricardo Briones, Esq.
After obtaining his law degree from St. Mary’s University, School of Law, Mr. Briones began as an associate attorney with McKnight & Bravenec. Today, as the managing partner, Mr. Briones spends most of his energy advocating for the rights of criminal defendants, seeing to the amicable resolution of family-related cases, helping clients through bankruptcy, among clients’ other legal matters.
Mr. Briones is also the vice-president of the board of directors for the San Antonio Cultural Arts Association.
